I just found out… – Week 16

I found out while studying this week that I’ve been focusing on the effect, not the cause.  I learned that happiness and harmony are causes and not effects.  They are states of consciousness not the result of having things or certain circumstances.  I must first manifest the correct mindset before I experience the results.

Well, I’ve been working on this for several weeks.  This past week especially since it was one of the focal points of week 16 and also because of focusing kindness for the Franklin exercise last week.

The past several weeks have been amazing.  Our plan is starting to come together.  Before the Master Key course started I formulated and revised my definite major purpose on paper over the first few weeks.  I thought I knew how it would all come together in the end.  I sure was mistaken.  God had another plan.  My definite major purpose has stayed the same, but the route to the pot at the end of the rainbow seems to have changed to my surprise and delight.

Some people have read my press release.  If you have you may remember me mentioning LiveYourDreamTV.com  This is our video blog which we planned on going live with in January 2011.  I always believed we would make a big impact with the content on our blog and that it would also be a vehicle for us to give back to the community and help to empower other people.  I also believed one day we’d be able to monetize the blog, but this wouldn’t be our focus.

LYDtv would serve as our hub and our major web presence, it would allow us to network, and be a way for us to give ….  THEN  A couple weeks ago two very influential business leaders in our community expressed interest in partnering with us on this project!  They both have a huge following …. one of them has a website that gets 1,000,000 hits a year and they want to promote us!  They also have given us ideas on how we can monetize this site immediately.  I can’t express into words how thrilled we are about this!

All I can say is focus on the ideal and the rest will fall into place.

Earlier I mentioned the Franklin exercise.  Last week we focused on kindness….all of us as a group….as a mastermind!  Visit some other MKMMA blogs to read about some other cool experiences.  This was such a cool learning experience and so fun and powerful.  The whole group was focusing on kindess for an entire week.

I got to express kindess in a lot of really cool ways…sometimes I did things I’ve never done before just to be kind to another person.  Some days I would be moving along through my day and somehow I realized I hadn’t done my 2 random acts of kindess for the day.  Then as soon as I gave it some thought, a ‘kind’ idea would just pop into my head.  The mastermind at work 🙂

It was so cool seeing these acts of kindess reciprocate in my life.  We’re attracting all these great and influential leaders into our lives….businesses are taking off….I got invited to do a radio spot….etc!!

Life is becoming what I will it to be.  I’m starting to feel happy more often.  I’m starting to feel like I’m in harmony with my surroundings.  Nothing can defeat me.  I will overcome.

Outlook OR Insight – Week 15

While thinking about what to write about this week I reflected on the fact that our exercise this week was to concentrate on insight.  Then I wondered what the difference between ‘outlook’ and ‘insight’ was.  Here goes:

Outlook:  a person’s point of view or general attitude for life.

Insight:  the capacity to gain an accurate and deep intuitive understanding of a person or thing.

Hmmmmm.   In my opinion an outlook is only an opinion and insight tends to be a depiction of actual, factual truth.  Very interesting.  I would personally much rather have an understanding of truth than to just have a guess from the outside.

As a matter of fact this is exactly what the master key system has done for me thus far.  I’ve really dived into what’s going on in the world….I’ve had a look into why things are the way they are.  My outlook is truly turning into insight.

Outlook is, “oh, that’s just the way it is” …. while insight is, “that’s interesting.  Let’s figure out who, what, when, where, why and how.”

For instance, there’s a difference between knowledge and knowledge applied.  Some people say knowledge is power, but in actuality, knowledge applied is power.  We can read and learn all day, all week, all month, all year, but if we don’t ever use this knowledge it will never amount to a hill of beans let alone a mountain of possibility.  We must use our knowledge or it will be forgotten.

Just like exercising.  We have to give strength in order to get strength.  We can read about and think about getting stronger and in better shape all we want, but nothing will ever change unless we sweat a little.

We can have a great outlook on exercise.  We can believe and shout from the roof tops about how great we’re going to feel and how great we’re going to look and how great life is going to be during and after exercise.  But we’ll never have the insight to know these things unless we actually do something.

We can’t even have a true outlook without insight.  It’s like the chicken came before the egg.  Folks often speak their outlook without insight, but a genuine outlook takes insight first.  We have to have the conditions within before they appear without.  We have to be able to control what we see inside before we can look at those things outside.  Otherwise our outlook “just is what it is” instead of us controlling our world without using insight.

Focusing on insight was really beneficial for me this week.  Another step to becoming the ultimate observer of my thoughts and actions.  I’m having fun analzying my thoughts … adding insight so I can create an environment more condusive to my new reality.

Got Harmony? – Week 14

I asked myself this question and I had to answer no.  Well, that’s not exactly true, I experience harmonious conditions in life sometimes, but not all the time.  Isn’t it possible to live life in total harmony?  I had to answer yes.

This weeks exercise in the Master Keys was to concentrate on harmony.  If my world without is a reflection of my world within then this makes perfect sense.  If I concentrate on harmony then I will have harmonious conditions within which will translate into harmonious conditions without.  Sweet.

So I’ve been practicing all week and it’s been a very nice harmonious week.  Some really great things happened to move my business forward, everyone in the family is getting along great, and we had a lot of fun bringing in the new year with friends and family.

Is it really possible for life to be like this, completely harmonious, all the time?  I believe it is.  It’s all up to me.  If I practice not allowing negative inharmonious thoughts in my mind…and/or quickly pushing them out when they arrive, then replace them with harmonious thoughts, I will be completely harmonious inside.  Then the conditions of my life will follow suit.  I will be completely harmonious inside and out.  Very cool.

Most people just want to be happy.  I definitely just want to be happy.  I want to be happy at home, doing my work, on holiday….doing everything.  That’s a perfect life.  Also, if I realize that no effect happens without first a cause then there isn’t much that could happen which would upset me.  Everything would be in harmony.

This seems like such a cool place to be inside and out….such a worthy ideal to achieve….such a wonderful thing to study.  I can imagine my life looking like what a symphony orchestra sounds like.  As if the conductor was leading my life.  Whoa, the Conductor is leading my life  🙂  What an awesome journey.

The Stone vs. The Sand – Week 13

My ideal will always be the same.  Maybe certain action steps will be added or taken away, but the objective will never vary.  I’ve heard it said the goal should be set in stone and the plan should be set in sand.  I believe this to be true.  Here’s why:

Matthew 7:24* Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:  25* And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.  26* And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:  27* And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

Master Keys Week 13 #25:  In creating a Mental Image or an Ideal, we are projecting a thought into the Universal Substance from which all things are created. This Universal Substance is Omnipresent, Omnipotent and Omniscient. Are we to inform the Omniscient as to the proper channel to be used to materialize our demand? Can the finite advise the Infinite?  This is the cause of failure; of every failure. We recognize the Omnipresence of the Universal Substance, but we fail to appreciate the fact that this substance is not only Omnipresent, but is Omnipotent and Omniscient, and consequently will set causes in motion concerning which we may be entirely ignorant.

I think it’s such an amazing blessing to not have to be concerned with how my new reality will come about.  I need only to be open to the 5th law of stratospheric success (The G0-Giver) which is the law of receptivity.  I’ve seen this to be true in the last 2 weeks.  I thought my new reality would be as a result of certain action steps.  Now I’m seeing my Father has a different path for me….and all I had to do was to be open to it and receive it.

Not that the other path I had in mind was a bad path or a wrong path….just that there may be a better path.  One which is more conducive to exactly what I want and who I want to become.  This is reall cool.

I’ve had a burning desire to take my business to my local market for a long time now.  At least 18 months.  I want to be able to become a true networker who serves others and also is a tremendous success financially.  I want to tie this local marketing in with social media online to gain a worldwide presence for myself and my colleagues.

I’ve made some connections these past 2 weeks that I believe will be key in the implentation of my ideal goal.  I look forward to sharing with everyone what happens as I continue exercising the Master Keys and becoming one with my Father.

Happy New Year 🙂

Without These 3 Things Failure Is Certain: Week 12

1. The Knowledge of Your Power

Man is because he thinks and there is no purpose in life that cannot be best accomplished through a scientific understanding of the creative power of thought.  So this is our power….the power of thought.

What does this mean?  What we think about will come about.  This is inevitable….it’s going to happen regardless if we know it or not.  So the knowledge of this power means we have control.  Then through exercise and practice we can hone in on this power and become the master of our thoughts.

When we truly control our thoughts and actions circumstances and people are attracted into our lives that are in snyc with what we want to achieve and thereby we control what comes about in our lives.  Would it be okay if you could control what comes about?  You can…and you do.

See, this is a natural law….a God given promise.  We’re all exercising this power right now.  When things we see as negative are happening in life, sorry to say, but it’s our fault.  This is fact and it will always remain true….so best to have the knowledge of this power so we have control.  Otherwise….well, failure is certain.

2. The Courage to Dare

Plugging into our power is going to take courage.  We have to train ourselves to be able to utilize our power….for most of us this is a completely new way of thinking….I know it was for me.  Anything new takes courage.

We have to dare to be different.  We have to dare to fail…how can we learn to become good at anything if we don’t fail a few times first?  Okay we’ll probably have to fail many times at first.  I believe John Maxwell said if you’re not failing 5 times a day you’re not learning fast enough.  Now that takes courage.

Not having the courage to dare means not trying at all.  We should at least try!  Otherwise….well, failure is certain.

3. The Faith to Do

Now that we have the courage, now it’s time for the action step.  We must have faith for this because we’ve never seen the result.  After all:

Faith is the substance of things hoped for….the evidence of things not seen.

If we’ve seen a thing in the material world already, it would be easy to dare and to do.  We must see the thing within first and have faith that it will be manifested without.

When we have the knowledge of our power, the courage to dare and the faith to do….magic happens.  Otherwise….well, failure is certain.

I am the champion. – Week 11

Champion:  1. a person who has defeated or surpassed all rivals in a competion, especially in sports.  2. a person who fights or argues for a cause or on behalf of someone else.

Once upon a time there was a boy who was destined for greatness.  He knew this.  He knew he had this greatness in him.  He didn’t know why or how or when or what….he just knew.

The boy always believed he would be a super hero….he would make a difference in the world and in many people’s lives.  People would tust and want to follow him.  He would lead these people to green pastures and a land flowing with milk and honey.

The boy knew his powers were strong and he would always use them for good not evil.  He would be humble and never take the credit because he knew all he had was given unto him.  He would pass on the praise to God and the people who surrounded him.  His team of super heros.

The boy saw himself having a big family who all got along well….who loved each other very much.  They were open with each other and trusted each other enough to talk about everything.  He taught his children wisdom and righteousness and they called him their hero.  His wife would be beautiful, smart and lived by the same principles he aspired to.

This boy’s life was not perfect.  There were trials and tribulations.  There were bad habits which he learned from people he loved and trusted.  He learned to be angry…to yell when he didn’t get his way.  He was often provoked to anger by these people he loved and trusted.  He learned how to blame these people for things and not take responsibility for his own actions.  He learned how to quit when things got tough.

The boy’s picture of his career as a super hero got tainted by certain circumstances.  He started to believe that maybe he wouldn’t make it….that his dream would never come true….that maybe his destiny wasn’t so great after all.

After a while the boy found his dream again though.  The boy decided he wasn’t going to be a quitter.  He decided he would win whatever it takes.  He decided he would persist until he succeeded.

The boy started studying.  He learned 2 principles from the Bible that became key for his philosophy of life:  “What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them and ye shall have them.”  “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”  The boy also started to learn about and study the law of attraction.

It’s amazing how things have come together for the boy.  The forces and the people who have been attracted to him like a magnet which have made him a super hero.  As the boy started to plug into the Master Key System he realized these two scriptures from the Bible are truly the Master Keys.  A few weeks ago the boy wrote about attention being key.  Attention to these undeniable, unmistakable, universal truths.

My name is Michael (Mick) Jared Carbo.  I am this boy.  I am the champion of my life.  I am master of myself.  I will persist until I succeed.  I promise…..and I always keep my promises.

Here’s how I know I’m the champion.  This is my prayer and I believe it.  Because I believe it and I’ve prayed, I know I shall receive it.

I am the champion.

The Good, The Bad And The Ugly – Week 10

Who is the good?  I am.  Who is the bad?  I am.  Who is the ugly?  I am.

Whoever tells you this process is easy is flat out lying to you.  Changing my blueprint is like climbing to the top of a 100 year old oak tree without any arms or legs.  Impossible?  Absolutely not…that word is no longer allowed out of my mouth.  Tough?  Yes indeed.

Is it worth it?  What is it worth to be happy about every aspect of life?  To have all of your heart’s desires and to know it happened because you wanted it to and applied the right principles for success?  For me this is priceless.  It is my destiny.

I’m willing to do whatever it takes.  With that being said I want to give a testimonial this week on some of the obstacles I’m encountering on this journey.  Before I do though I want to make sure everybody knows I wouldn’t trade what I’m learning for the winning lottery ticket.  Why?  Because once my new blueprint is my reality I will be truly in control of my own thoughts….in control of my own destiny.

I’ve done at least 98% of all the exercises and reading, and that’s a conservative statement….seriously.  That’s why I’m the good 🙂

The bad and the ugly?  Well, I just can’t seem to kick the anger, hatred and resentment.  WHAT THE @#%*!!!!!!!!!!!!   See?

Don’t get me wrong, I have made progress, just not there 100% yet.  I guess it’s the microwave mentality making me want to have this licked by now.

Why can’t I let it go?  Why is it still there?  Because my body is chemically addicted to those negative peptides.  Wow.  I don’t want to get angry….and most of the time I don’t.  But every once in a while it comes out.  I don’t like it.

Good news is I’ve decided to kick the habit.  I’ve decided to live inside of my new reality and create my new blueprint.  The journey will be rough at times, but I will persist.  I will win.
